5. Simple Past Tense ( સાદો ભુતકાળ કાળ) -
નિયમ :- મોટા ભાગના ક્રિયાપદો ની છેડે "ed" લગાડવો.
Rule - Put "ed" at the end of most verbs.
વ્યાખ્યા : - જે ક્રિયા ભૂતકાળમાં પૂર્ણ થયેલ હોય તેવી તમામ ક્રિયાઓ નો ઉલ્લેખ સાદા ભૂતકાળ માં કરવામાં આવે છે.
Definition: - All actions that have been completed in the past are referred to in the simple past tense.
ઉદાહરણ : -
મેં અંગ્રેજી ભાષા બોલી I spoke English language.
ડોક્ટર દવાખાને આવ્યા Doctor came to hospital.
